Privacy Policy
Pebbl shows a single sponsored line in your AI coding tool's wait state and shares the ad revenue with you. To do that we measure ads - nothing more. We are deliberately built to stay out of your work.
What Pebbl never collects
The extension does not read, store, or transmit:
- Your source code or file contents
- Your prompts, AI responses, or chat history
- Your keystrokes, terminal output, or browsing activity
None of it reaches us - ever. Pebbl only knows that an ad was shown, not what you were doing.
What we collect
Account data (only if you sign in to receive payouts): your Google account email, display name, and an account ID. We never see your password. You can browse and run a demo without an account.
Ad measurement events: an event type and de-duplication ID, the ad/campaign ID and a short-lived serving token, a random per-install identifier (not tied to your hardware, used only to detect fraud), a client-version string, timestamps and how long the ad was visible.
Coarse location: we derive your city and country (e.g. Jaipur, India) from your network address to serve relevant ads and report aggregate geography to advertisers. For fraud prevention we also keep a one-way salted hash of the IP address - never the raw address, and the hash cannot be reversed back to it.
Earnings: a ledger of your impressions, clicks, balance, and payouts, plus your payout-account identifier (UPI ID or Stripe ID). Bank details go directly to the payment processor; we never see them.
How we use it
- To count valid impressions and clicks and calculate your earnings
- To serve region-relevant ads (country only)
- To detect and exclude bot / click-farm traffic
- To pay you and meet accounting and tax obligations
Advertisers receive aggregate statistics only - impression and click counts. They never receive any information that identifies you.
Who we share it with
- Google - sign-in (OAuth)
- Payment processor (UPI / Stripe) - to pay you; they hold your bank/UPI details, not us
- Vercel and our database host - infrastructure
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond running Pebbl.
Retention
Sign-in records are short-lived. Serving tokens expire within 24 hours. Measurement and earnings records are kept as long as needed for accounting and payout history. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing privacy@pebbl.space from your sign-in address. Uninstalling Pebbl stops all measurement immediately.
India (DPDP Act)
Pebbl is operated by Billionaire Technologies (Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-RJ-17-0593856), registered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 - on the basis of your consent (an in-tool opt-in before any measurement begins), limited to what's necessary, with withdrawal of consent honoured. Pebbl is for users aged 18 and over.
